Wildwood Nursery was founded in 2018 with the first sales of Avocado trees, since those first trees there has been huge expansion in infrastructure as the site prepares to expand its nursery production into other areas of sales including various fruit and nut varieties.
The company is a sister company to Nubloom Pty Ltd, founded in 2009 by Duncan and Joanne Wood, a successful cut flower business dealing in natives, protea, and other imported South African varieties. Duncan and Joanne branched out on their own from the family cut flower business Protea Pride, establishing their brand in the local, interstate, and international market exporting to Japan and China.
